Welcome to Quick Notes. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quick Notes browser extension and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using Quick Notes, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Quick Notes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Quick Notes is a browser extension that provides:

- AI-powered content assistance and enhancement
- Cloud synchronization via Google Drive
- Search and filtering functionality
- Customization options and themes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quick Notes. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
4. Account and Registration

To use certain features of Quick Notes, you must sign in with a Google Account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google Account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

7. AI Features and Content
When using AI-powered features:
- AI-generated content is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content
- We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content based on your input
- AI processing may involve third-party services subject to their own terms
- You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical decisions
8. Third-Party Services
Quick Notes integrates with third-party services, including Google Drive. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for:
- The availability or functionality of third-party services
- Changes to third-party services that affect Quick Notes
- Data handling practices of third-party services
9. Privacy and Data Protection

10. Subscription and Payments

11. Termination

- Revoking Google Drive access
- Contacting us to delete your account

We may suspend or terminate your access to Quick Notes if:

- Your use poses a security risk
- Required by law or legal process
- We discontinue the Service
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
- We may delete your data in accordance with our retention policies
- You should export your notes before termination
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
12. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
12.1 Service "As Is"
Quick Notes is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or freedom from viruses
12.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill

- Unauthorized access to your data
Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on our website
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Providing notice through the extension (for significant changes)
Your continued use of Quick Notes after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Quick Notes regarding the Service.
